- Receptors fort he Fc region of IgG (FcyRs) are important for controlling immune responses. FcyRs are divided in three cclasses FcyRI (CD64), FcyRII (CD32), and FcyRIII(CD16).
- The coordinated function of activating and inhibitory resceptors is necessary for successful initiation, amplification, and termination of immune responses.
- CD16 is encoded by a single gene, the protein product is type I transmembrane protein having two extra cellular ig-like domains, and is exressed on a variety of myeloid and lymphoid cells.

- Storage conditions and stability
+ Lyophilized CD16 is stable at 2 – 8 °C for 24 months from production date.
+ The lyophilized CD16 should be reconstituted in sterile distilled water to your desired concentration.
+ Should be stored in working aliquots at -20°C when reconstituted
